Rumors are rampant that Apple is going to release the next gen MacBook Pro 2016 in the end of this month. In fact, going by latest reports, the MacBook Pro 2016 launch event has been scheduled for Oct. 27, 2016.

Reportedly, the Cupertino had initially scheduled its earnings call for the last quarter of 2016 on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016. But, now, due to a scheduling conflict, the earnings call has been preponed to Tuesday, Oct. 25. Apple took it to its investor relations webpage to announce the move.

Tech enthusiasts are speculating that Apple's decision to reschedule its earnings call might not be because of a simple scheduling conflict. Rumors are that the iPhone maker will use the Oct. 27 date to launch its slew of new devices including MacBook Pro 2016, MacBook Air 2016 and iMac 2016.

Talking about Apple MacBook Pro 2016 specs, it is rumored that the upcoming laptop will feature the most impressive hardware configuration and specs ever found on Mac laptops. The next gen Apple laptop is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessors. The most talked about feature is the OLED display on the keyboard, which is rumored to replace the physical function keys.

Among other specs, the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to get a 5K Apple display with 5120 x 2880 screen resolution, Intel Skylake processor, a Polaris-based (AMD) graphics processor, the butterfly-hinged keyboard, macOS Sierra, a Force touch trackpad, a Touch ID power button, four USB-C ports and Siri, which is Apple's smart personal assistant.

 Reports are that the Cupertino will roll out two -13-inch and 15-inch- MacBook Pro 2016 variants. The 13-inch MacBook Pro 2016 variant is expected to get a price tag of around $1,099, while, the15-inch version is rumored to cost around $2,099.
