Pokémon GO News And Latest Update: Nests Migrated And Spawning Points Changed, Is This Permanent?

Pokémon GO players were caught off guard when Niantic changed the location of Pokémon nests and spawn areas worldwide. This change had circulated among gamers who noticed that common spawn areas in their location were giving out different Pokémon than usual.

According to iTech Post, a number of Reddit users who also huge Pokémon GO fanatics such as BiggaThanLife, posted his recent experience with the game. Apparently, his home is a Spawning Point for Pidgey and Ratata, but it has now changed to Nidorinos and Dratinis as well as Ghastlys. Many Pokémon GO trainers and players including the Reddit user were happy about this update.

However, Enstarz.com reported that there while the news of the nest and spawn area were moved and loved by other players, some players are still complaining that the migration of nests had made Pokémon farming more difficult and tiring. They said that by spending time looking for other nests and spawn areas, grinding time apparently gets wasted. What ticked a number of players off was the fact that the game developer, Niantic Labs has been awfully silent about the said update. Some players even said that if the developers only announced the change earlier, confusion along with the sudden change would have been avoided.

Data miners are still in search for the code change that Niantic has implemented for the latest update. According to heavy.com, Pokémon GO Hub stated that the Pokémon GO Nests migration and Pokémon Spawn Points change has been given a go worldwide. They also Pokémon GO players from the United States to Australia have been reporting the same phenomenon. They also have a list of Nests that changed. Most of the Pokémon GO players said that the update worked to their advantage, but it is still unclear if this update is a permanent or a temporary thing.

Meanwhile, Pokémon GO app developer Niantic has yet to issue an official announcement about this. Also, PokeExplore has just started its first day of campaign. The campaign basically asks Niantic to set up more PokeStops, most specifically in rural areas. As of press time, PokeExplore was able to about 600 Twitter post by hundreds of its volunteers. It was also noticed that most of the tweets came from the United States and from Android devices.

The petition also collected more than 100,000 Impressions. PokeExplore organizers hope to convince more Pokemon Go volunteers to join the cause, but Niantic has yet to acknowledge the petition.
