Apple has addressed bugged down web services shortly after getting reports from web users on Thursday.

Different Apple web services such as iCloud Drive, App Store, and Apple TV Services were not accessible to many users on Thursday afternoon. Apple also posted the same in its support website: "We are investigating and will update the status as more information becomes available." The downtime seemed to have started before 1 p.m., Thursday, Pacific time.

PC Mag reported that there were also Twitter posts from users who were not able to purchase anything from iTunes at the time. Some users also mentioned that they had issues with Apple Music authentication. PC Mag also added that some customers observed that their music libraries seemed to have disappeared when the glitch happened.

There were reports that Mail Drop, iCloud Notes, iCloud Reminders, iCloud Storage Updates, and iCloud Web Apps, and other popular services were not functioning properly as well. The outage has prompted the users to post on social media sites.

The problem has been fixed as of press time, as reported by the Apple Insider. There was no official statement, however, on the real cause of the issues encountered by the users. Apple seems mum to share the reason behind these accessibility issues of its users.

Aside from the actual products, Apple also earns profits from its services. Just last April, it reported it was able to generate $ 5.99 billion in the second quarter of 2016, according to The Verge.

A similar issue also happened in March last year, when both the App Store and iTunes were inaccessible to Apple many users.

Recently, Apple users also had users in the iOS update, particularly on the 9.3.2 version for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Apple also fixed the problems immediately. Despite these issues, Apple has managed to retain its wide number of users worldwide.
