'Final Fantasy 7' Remake Release Date, Latest News, Update: Game’s 2018 Launch Confirmed?

There's no doubt that Final Fantasy fans are eagerly awaiting for Square Enix to reveal the "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date. But, unfortunately, the game developer hasn't revealed anything about the highly anticipated gaming title.

Recently, Shinji Hashimoto, "Final Fantasy" brand manager and an executive producer at Square Enix, took to the stage at the Lucca Comics & Games 2016 convention in Italy to disclose the company's plans about the wildly popular video game franchise.

Hashimoto revealed that fans will need to be patient and wait a little more for any announcement about the release of the game. He assured that the Japanese gaming studio will be disclosing official details about the game soon.

Talking about "Final Fantasy 7" Remake 2017 release date rumors, the brand manager said that the rumors are completely false and that fans should not to believe it. Fortunately, what is confirmed after Hashimoto's speech is that Square Enix is working hard on "Final Fantasy 7" remake. So, there are definitely high chances that the gaming title will see the light of the day in future.

In addition, the Square Enix executive producer also revealed that the gaming studio is currently developing "FF12 Remaster: The Zodiac Age." However, he added that there's no release date attached to the game just yet.

As far as "Final Fantasy 7" remake characters are concerned, the upcoming gaming title is rumored to feature some of the popular characters from the original version including Vincent Valentine, Cid Highwind, Tifa Lockhart and Aerith Gainsborough. While, "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date still remains a mystery, it is expected that the game might get rolled out in 2018.  It is already confirmed that Square Enix will release the game as a multi-part series, with story episodes to be released on arranged schedules. Currently, it is unclear as to how many episodes will be made.
