When it comes to claiming for a busted screen of your phone, you have to have an insurance for your device. Your insurance money gets deducted for it and then you have to wait for a replacement after filing your claim. That takes time. But, AT&T is planning to offer an insurance plan that will save those few days' worth waiting.

Asurion, AT&T's insurance provider will come up with a scheme on November 15 where customers will be able to get an insurance for their phones at $89 where the technician can repair their display within the same day.

The claim for same-day repairs are tentative, but the scheme could still save a lot of extra time when insured phones are sent for repairs at times of broken screens. Eventually, this will speed up the process. Besides, the price offered is lower than that offered for insurances of high-budget smartphones. The usual price range has been from $150 to $225 which is based on the budget of the phone. Getting an insurance deal at $89 certainly feels like a good deal for most people.

This insurance plan is mainly for a certain number of phones - most specifically the high-end smartphones. The list covers up phones like iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S Plus, 6S, Galaxy S6, S5, Note 4, etc. The list might not feature some of the popular devices like the iPhone 7 or the Galaxy S7. This is because of the expensive components they possess.

Besides, the screen-replacement insurance plan will only be available in 14 market zones for the customers starting November 15. What other markets are going to enter this customer service are still not known. But, we will keep you updated on future updates about this.
