While, fans are eagerly waiting for Apple's next iPhone iteration possibly dubbed iPhone 7 to get released, rumors about the handset's specs, design and price are fast piling up.

A recently leaked Apple iPhone 7 picture posted on the Chinese social-media site Weibo, coming from the repair company Rock Fix, shows off the handset's back chassis with a larger rear camera. The casing features a camera opening, which is much larger than the current iPhone 6 model, which is expected to support a new camera with a bigger CMOS sensor.

It is also rumored that Apple iPhone 7 will come with new EarPods featuring lightning connectors that will plug into the lightning port. The new iPhones are expected to come with standard 3.5mm size EarPods. There are also reports which claim that the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 has dropped the iconic physical home button in favor of a touch-sensitive one. The pictures obtained by MobiPicker show a slightly re-positioned front camera and proximity sensor and narrower lower and upper bezels on the handset.

The home button in the pictures is perfectly in level with the rest of the bezel and cannot be pressed in. This hints that the button is touch-sensitive. The report claims that users will have to tap the button to perform various functions, like tap and hold for Siri, double tap to see the running apps, etc.

Furthermore, rumors suggest the Cupertino might phase out 16GB as the lowest storage offering in case of the next iPhone iteration. It is expected that the iPhone 7 Plus will be rolled out in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options. There are also rumors that Apple iPhone 7 will be available in a new Space Black color option when it gets released in September.

We would advise our readers to take the information with a pinch of salt as nothing yet has been confirmed by the makers.
