Uber is offering some feature updates to somehow appease its drivers. These features were mainly based on their current demands.

While many passengers consider Uber as a great alternative to the usual public transportation, there are also complaints being received from the company from its drivers. With this, the start-up thought of providing change that can make things easier for most of their drivers. The features aim to allow drivers to have control on ride requests and impose fines for riders who make them wait for too long. Some of the app updates are now being tested in some markets, and the company will still decide if these can be used in other cities as well.

The Verge has also reported that Uber is also expanding its list of destinations feature that will enable drivers to decide on the pick-up and drop off points.  The app will soon use an algorithm that will only enable them to pick-up riders who are along their route. Those out of way will not appear in the app.
