Leaked Images Of The New iPhone7 Design Showed Laser Autofocus, White Band Still Visible

Most major Android OEMs have already showcased their up and coming releases for the first half of 2016. Now, all eyes are set at Apple and its upcoming iPhone7. With so many people depending on this model, it's not a surprise if it is getting a lot more attention than previous iPhone models. A new image leaked its way online, allegedly showing the final design of Apple's upcoming iPhone 7.

Samsung has already showed its latest addition to its flagship phones with the launching of Galaxy Note 6 on the way, and Motorola will soon reveal its next-generation handsets, but it seems that all eyes are on Apple and its much anticipated iPhone7. Tech Times has recently reported that a number of leaked images have surfaced online aiming to paint a picture of what to expect from the handset. However, it is still tough to say which will turn out to be the right one, since the latest leak of the image didn't make things clearer either.

The new leak allegedly showed the final iPhone7 design featured the back design of the said handset. If this one is true, it seems that the tech company still has not managed to create a true all-metal design, uninterrupted by strips made of plastic so the antenna signal can get through. Fans may find the new design to be a slightly improved version of the iPhone6 and 6s. The strips are now just on the top and bottom edges instead of crossing the width of the back.

According to slashgear.com, an additional detail believed to be a laser-assisted autofocus system was added to the phone. This was a feature popularized by LG on smartphones and seems to have caught on with other manufacturers. However, it would also be slightly unusual for Apple to jump on this bandwagon. It doesn't seem that it has increased the camera sensor as previously speculated.

If iPhone 7 looks a bit disappointing, there might be hope in the iPhone 7 Plus or Pro that is rumored to launch along with it. But even if these two turn out to be more incremental in new features, the iPhone 8 next year is the one that is truly expected to blow the market away again.
