Do you want superpowers? The time may be near, and you don't have to be bitten by a radioactive spider or create a supersuit to get it, either. All it would take is a little injection -- to your eyeballs.

Metro reported that Google may be developing a computer that can be injected into the eyeballs to give humans superpowers. It's still in its concepts stage, but the internet giant has already taken out a patent for it, which means that it just might happen.

But what superpowers, though? It's not laser-eyes or anything that dangerous, but it's pretty cool just the same. The tech is said to be able to process extra information with the help of an antenna that could connect it to other devices. It will also be able to store files and even access the radio though a special computer.

Best of all, it could correct your vision, as the computer will be inkected just behind the visible part of the eye, as noted by The Independent.

While the exact eyeball computer may not be released, this tech can still be used in a similar device -- Google Glass, anyone? Of course, Google did run into some problems with that one, but the tech is now being relaunched for use specifically at the workplace.

Still, the eyeball tech yet another take at Google's fascination with the eye. In 2014, they also filed a patent for smart contact lenses, which could display information about the wearer's glucose levels.

That technology is still undergoing works, and it has been said that Google is collaborating with a healthcare company to help them develop such machines.

A lot of patents never make it to the market, but who knows, the injectable computer just might -- in one form or another.
