From time immemorial, Hollywood stars have undergone painful beauty procedures like Botox, plastic surgeries, vampire facials, liposuction and many more alternatives to achieve everlasting youth. That's the reason why they always manage to look their best. Celebs don't hesitate to go under the knife to enhance their on-screen image, and often take cues from each other in their eternal quest for beauty.

This time, it is Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney who has inspired a new trend called 'ball ironing'. He had once joked of ironing the skin of his balls and not the wrinkles on his eyes. But the joke was seriously taken, and a latest fad called 'ball ironing' is now becoming the hot trend among Hollywood men.

On being interviewed by Esquire regarding plastic surgery, Clooney jokingly said, "I never fixed my eyes, but I spent more money to stretch the skin of my testicles. I did not like the wrinkles. It's a new technique; many people in Hollywood have done it. It's called 'ball ironing."

And now, a California company - Beauty Park Spa - has come up with a procedure which it refers to as 'Tighten the Tackle'.

The 'ball ironing' procedure, otherwise known as 'Tighten the Tackle', is not a plastic surgery, as it does not include any nip and tuck. It is done with a laser that is used to remove hair, wipe away wrinkles and correct discoloration on the scrotum. The procedure can be painful, says cosmetic expert Nurse Jamie, who works at the Beauty Park Spa in Santa Monica.

Reports according to The Mail state that this non-surgical medical procedure costs around $575. The hair removal procedure takes around 45 minutes and the main tightening procedure of the skin takes around 25 minutes. But the annual cost would be $6,900. Each person requires a minimum of six sessions.

The 'Male Laser Lift' service, which was added last year by Nurse Jamie on the list of services provided, has gained a lot of success.

"Male grooming these days is on par with female grooming. Using the Pixel laser this procedure evens out skin tone, removes discoloration from ingrown hairs, removes skin tags and provides overall tightening to the external skin. You know where...."
according to the spa website.

Nurse Jamie says when people realize that this procedure is not as strange as it sounds, it will become even more popular.

According to Medicaldaily, it is always better to consult your doctor before taking up any treatment near the genitals, as it can cause several health risks. One such risk is retrograde ejaculation, which occurs when semen is unable to exit the body and is pushed back into the bladder.

However, those who have taken up this treatment are reportedly all very satisfied, according to claims by the spa.
