iPad Air 3 Specs, Price & Release Date: Device Expected To Launch In March 2017 With A 10.9 Inch Screen

The year is about to end and gadget users all over the world are already waiting for the upcoming release of their favourite devices. Apple fans were extremely excited about the hopeful announcement and launch of Apple iPad Air 3 in 2016. However, their wait was extended to the next year. Apple released its latest 12.9 inch iPad Pro version instead. According to latest rumours, iPad Air 3 is now pegged to get a 2017 release date. However, there is no concrete news about the launch.

If rumours are to be believed, iPad Air 3 will feature an Apple Pencil. This move has been possibly deployed to compete with other tablets and their stylus support. The iPad will also feature a 4K screen that will be 3D Touch technology friendly.

This technology was first seen in the brand's flagship phone, iPhone 6. Some experts also believe that iPhone 7 features might also be added to the iPad Air 3. This may include the dual camera on the back with 3 GB of RAM processing. The processor might be the same as iPhone 6 itself.

The new line of iPads with iPad Air 3 leading the line may have a 10.9 inch screen. This size is larger than the previous model iPad Air 2. The tablet will also be thinner than its predecessor. For the people who love colours, the iPad Air 3 may be released and available in several colors including Black and Jet Black.

Another source, BGR reports that iPad Air 3 might finally feature a touch ID with fingerprint scanner. It might be released with Bluetooth 4.2 and four speaker audio system. As far as the memory aspect is concerned, the iPad Air 3 will be released in 2 hardware variants with internals memories of 16GB and 32GB. The iPad Air 3 price is expected to start at $610.

The experts also speculate that it will be released with iPad Pro 2. This premium tablet device may feature a faster chip processor and audio hardware.
