‘Marvel Vs. Capcom 4’ Release Date, Latest Updates: Game To Be Revealed At Upcoming PSX Event! New Characters From MCU To Be Added? No X-Men This Time?

While, information on the upcoming "Marvel Vs. Capcom 4" title still remains scarce, it is expected that the game will get a 2017 release date. It is to be noted that the "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3" developer, Ryota Niitsuma hasn't revealed anything about the next title in the series.

"Marvel Vs. Capcom 4" Release Date: Game To Be Announced At PSX Event

Reports are that the upcoming "Marvel Vs. Capcom 4" game might get revealed at Sony's PlayStation Experience event which is scheduled for Dec. 3, 2016. The recent reports counters the update given by developer Niitsuma who has revealed that "MVC 4" is not coming up at the PSX event.

"Marvel V. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds" came up almost 5 years ago for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. It was later followed by "Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3." And, since then fans have been waiting for the next game in this fighting game series.

"Marvel Vs. Capcom 4" Might Feature New Characters From MCU

A bunch of new characters are being suggested to come up in the MVC 4 title. These characters will be taken from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as per sources. This means that players can expect characters from the "Avengers," "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Dr. Strange" to name a few.

Fans should know that there are little chances for the X-men characters to be added in the upcoming "Marvel Vs. Capcom 4" title. This is going to be a major change in the franchise as X-men had been there since the beginning of the first game.

If rumors about the MVC 4 title turns out to be true then we would possibly see the game getting unveiled at the upcoming PSX event. A teaser poster featuring the number 4 with Capcom, Marvel and PS 4 logos was also seen the past weekend which gives us more proof for the upcoming game. We still have to wait for the "Marvel Vs.
