Xiaomi Mi 6 Release Date, Specs, Price: Handset's Launch Set In March 2017!

The latest release of the tech giant is set to create some noise in the market. Even before its official launch, Xiaomi Mi 6 has set the digital arena into motion.

Xiaomi Mi 6 is scheduled to get a March 2017 release date. As far as Xiaomi Mi 6 specs and features are concerned, the Chinese smartphone is rumored to come with the most advanced version of Snapdragon processor 835. Mi 6 will also be the first Chinese handset to feature the latest system on a chip (SoC). Incidentally, it will be released around the same time as the launch of Galaxy S8 by Samsung. This smartphone will also be equipped with Snapdragon 835. Qualcomm had recently announced its partnership with Samsung for the S8 model. This chip is still under production and is receiving final touches before its release. With such announcements in the pipeline, the tech world is eagerly awaiting the Snapdragon 835.

As reported by GSM Arena, this release is not a part of the official company announcement. This news was first featured in the iSuppli analyst's personal feed in Weibo. Xiaomi is yet to give an actual confirmation to this update. The announcement has not been confirmed by iSuppli itself either. 

The official announcement might be kept under wraps in order to sync it with the actual release. Earlier, Mi 5 was released only two months after Xiaomi made a formal press statement. A new upgrade within a year seems quite plausible at this point. 

Even though MI 5s was released recently, the company is trying to keep up with its competition. Leading names such as OnePlus release two popular phones each year. Xiaomi might just be following the trend set in the market. Whatever the case may be, tech enthusiasts all over the world are waiting in anticipation. Xiaomi has already acquired a loyal fan base that cannot wait for the latest offering.
