If recent reports are to be believed, Apple iPhone 8 will feature tons of new features including wireless charging, new OLED Display and an all glass body design. The leaks came from Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple analyst working at the KGI Securities. Kuo stated that the upcoming 2017 iPhone 8 users will be able to charge their smartphones using an inductive pad.

Although several of Samsung smartphones already feature wireless charging being offered, the tech is a totally new breakthrough for Apple's iPhones. Here's what we know about Apple's iPhone 8 specs, features and release date so far:

Apple iPhone 8 Specs, Features: All Glass Body Design & Wireless Charging

Recent reports state that iPhone 8 will be able to charge through an induction pad, a technology already being used in the Apple Watch. Although the Samsung smartphones that currently feature wireless charging have plastic as well as metal cases, the upcoming 2017 iPhone model will spec a total glass body design.

Experts believe that the all glass body will help Apple iPhone 8 feature a faster-charging speed compared to its earlier predecessors and will also minimize disruption from frequency interference while wireless charging. Apple may only provide a wireless charger with the more expensive and higher capacity models, for now, however, the tech giant is expected to take a huge leap in wireless charging by the end of 2018.

Recent leaks also reveal that the 2017 iPhone model will feature an all new OLED Display. Although no official reveal has yet been made, the OLED display is expected to wrap around iPhone's edges as well as sides. The reports also state that the Screen will be 5.8", however, the active region will only span the diagonal size of 5.2".

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to be rolled out in three models. The first two being successors to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, whereas, the third model will be a bezel-less design. The Touch ID Home Button in the third model will be integrated into the iPhones' display only.

Although it has not been reported yet, whether the tech giant will do changes in the top bezel or not, the upcoming 2017 iPhone will feature new optical image stabilization tech in both the wide-angle as well as the telephoto lens. As far as Apple iPhone 8 release date is concerned, the handset is expected to get rolled out in September 2017.
