Lenovo has broken all its previous sales records with its ThinkPad series, and now with the latest Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet, the company is all set to rule the market again. The Thinkpad X1 is as functional as a laptop but also offers the portability of a tablet.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet is 12″ in size and weighs just 800g for the tablet part. Here's everything about the new Tab that you should know:

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet: Design

In terms of size, the ThinkPad X1 is comparable to the Surface Pro 4, the tab being 291 mm x 209.5 mm x 8.45 mm while Surface Pro measures 292.1 mm x 201.42 mm x 8.45 mm. Although both the devices have almost the same thickness, Surface Pro 4's width is a bit smaller.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet has a square shape and feels quite solid. There's also a kickstand on its rear that makes the tablet stand firmly on most surfaces. Carrying the Tablet is also quite easy even with the keyboard attachment.

Thinkpad X1 Tablet comes packed with a ThinkPad keyboard with a price tag of $810. The tab is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor and features a RAM of 4GB. The $1,230 model, on the other hand, features the M7 processor and a RAM of 8GB.

Lenovo's Thinkpad X1 Tablet feels like an X1 Yoga Laptop but with the addition of a touchscreen, a stylus and a new 360-degree hinge. The new hinge allows the user to flip back the keyboard use the laptop as a tablet. The Tablet also features a 14" OLED display.

ThinkPad X1 Tablet also has a modular function allowing the user to install different add ons as per their requirements. The Productivity Module increases battery life up to 15 hours, whereas the Presenter Module includes a pico projector as well as a HDMI port. There's also a 3D Imaging Module, which is coupled with a back-facing Intel RealSense camera.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet is definitely offering a huge competition to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. While the Tab's sleek design makes it a tempting buy.
