Microsoft Surface Studio is expected to be released in December. If recent rumors are to be believed, Surface Dial will likely get rolled out in November. Microsoft Surface users were surprised when reports spread that Surface Dial will be released sooner that Surface Studio. Rumour has it that Microsoft's early release of the all-in-one computer accessory is all planned.

The Surface Dial is designed not just to work with Surface Studio but also with Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book. Microsoft's upcoming accessory is manufactured to support Windows 10. Using the Surface Dial, users will have the chance to work with on-screen interactions. All supported Windows 10 PCs and laptops will also be able to adjust options by dialing on the desk, The Verge reported.

Revu, Drawboard PDF, Mental Canvas Player, Sketchable, Moho 12 and Spotify are some of the applications that will work with Surface Dial. Reports also shared that the Microsoft accessory will support StaffPad, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Office Win32), OneNote (UWP version), Windows Maps and Plumbago. Anticipators of Surf Dial can also use its features for Sketchpad, Groove Music, PewPew Shooter, Microsoft Photos, Paint and Adobe Photoshop (basic zoom support).

Meanwhile, tech consumers globally can't help but compare the upcoming Surf Dial from PowerMate which is Apple's Mac-specific accessory. Both computer accessories can execute radial controls from multimedia playback and art apps. Despite the similarities, Surface Dial can help create an actual display of visual presentation forms. From pressing, twisting and turning, the accessory can detect whichever color the user want to use, Slash Gear reported.

Microsoft is also set to launch the new firmware in order for Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book to have a portable art station that will support on tablet's screen like on Surface Studio. Microsoft's Surf Dial is set to roll out with a $99 saleable price approximately next week.
