Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi 4A Release Date, Specs, Price: TENAA Reveals Phone Specs!

Specifications of Xiaomi's upcoming smartphones Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A have reportedly been revealed online via TENAA. Expectations are high that the new smartphone offering from Xiaomi will get a release date very soon. Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A will be the new addition to the company's Redmi-branded smartphones line.

While, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A are expected to have a number of common features, the two will not be totally identical. The upcoming Xiaomi smartphones are rumored to boast the same overall design. As per reports, the power and volume buttons both will be placed in the right hand side of the phone, while, the capacitive buttons will be located below the screen display, Android Headlines reported.

Xiaomi is also expected to put the fingerprint scanners on the back side of the handsets. Despite the resemblance of the new two Xiaomi smartphones, the positions of the speakers are apart from each other. The rear-facing camera and LED flash are also placed differently in the smartphones.

According to Gadget 360, Xiaomi's new smartphones will come in a full metal body. Redmi 4 will have a 1.4GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset, while Redmi 4A will be released with a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor. Redmi 4 will also be launched in a 32GB internal storage with the option to expand further via a microSD card up to 128GB. On the other hand, Redmi 4A will have 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Both the smartphones will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be equipped with a dual-LED flash feature while Redmi 4A has a single LED flash. In terms of battery capacity, Xiaomi Redmi 4 will have 4000mAh or 4100mAh battery capacity while Redmi 4A will contain a 3000mAh or 3030mAh battery. Xiaomi's upcoming smartphones will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
