There is a new way for women to make sure they stay pain free during their "time of the month." Foria, a company known for selling cannabis-infused products have recently released marijuana tampons in the hopes of making it big in the hygiene department with its new product.

According to kdvr.com, the company has released a line of tampons that contains a mixture of cocoa butter, THC oil and CND isolate from organically grown hemp. Though it is only available in the states of Colorado and California, the company hopes that this unique suppository can ease the pain of as many women suffering from period cramps as possible.

The product has not yet been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration or even recommended to undergo clinical trials. However, online reviews show that the product has helped women suffering from lower back problems and worked far longer than conventional pain killers. One woman told Broadly that her cramps disappeared within 20 minutes.

The maker of the tampons said that the cannabinoids cause the nerves in the cervix, uterus and ovaries to relax the uterine muscles. They also added that the tampon will cure the cramps that often happen during a woman's menstrual cycle, w3livenews.com reported.
