While Xiaomi is keeping mum on the release date of its highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi 5s, rumors about the handset's possible specs and features have been making rounds for quite some time now.

According to TechnoBuffalo, a new leaked render of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s suggest that the smartphone will feature two rear cameras instead of one. In fact, rumors also claim that Samsung is selling dual-camera modules to Xiaomi. It is expected that Mi 5s could be the first phone from Xiaomi to sport a dual lens setup.

The picture also mentions a pressure-sensitive 3D touch display, which could be an impressive feature for the Mi 5s, reported GSMArena. The feature, which is already present in Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones, allows the device to detect multiple points of input, and it can also sense how much pressure the user applies to the screen. A light press will result in one action, while a harder press will result in another.

Previous reports claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 5s will feature a 5.5 inches screen, comparatively larger than the Mi 5's 5.15-inch display. However, it will reportedly stick with same 1080p resolution. The handset is also rumored to come with as much as 6 GB of random access memory (RAM) and a Snapdragon 820 processor.

Among other specs, the Xiaomi Mi 5s is expected to repeat some of its predecessor's features including an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, an all-glass body and quick-charging abilities. While the Mi 5 is available in three color variants namely Pure White, Deep Black, and Opulent Gold, rumors are that the Mi 5s might get rolled out in more colors and also more internal storage options.

As far as Xiaomi Mi 5s release date is concerned, the handset is expected to get unveiled in August 2016.

We would advise our readers to take the information with a grain of salt as nothing yet about the Xiaomi Mi 5s release date, specs or features has been announced yet.
