Motorola Moto Z Play Release Date, Specs, Rumors: Possible Handset Specs Appears On AnTuTu?

While Motorola is keeping mum on the release date of its highly anticipated Motorola Moto Z Play smartphone, the handset was recently spotted on the popular benchmarking website AnTuTu with almost all its probable specs listed.

As listed in the benchmarking site, the upcoming Motorola Moto Z Play displayed with the model number XT1635-01 will feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU, Adreno 506 GPU under its hood, reported Android Community.

The device is likely to feature 3GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage as well as microSD card slot. Other leaked Motorola Moto Z specs includes a 16MP camera for photos and videos, 5Mp front-facing camera and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its operating system out of the box. The listing did not mention anything about the handset's battery, however, it has been rumored to pack a 3,500mAh battery. There are reports which claim that the handset might get rolled out in two 2GB and 3GB variants.

Last month, the handset was also spotted on GeekBench with the model number XT1635. The Moto Z Play was listed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. The handset was also listed with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

As per GeekBench listing, the device is expected to come running the latest version of Google's Android OS, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is said to be complete with a 16MP primary camera, a fingerprint scanner and a 3500mAh battery.
