Is that an UFO hurtling past Jupiter in the video below? Well, at least conspiracy theorists and alien hunters would like to believe so. The internet was abuzz with speculations after a recent video clip went viral, apparently showing an enormous Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) speeding past Jupiter and three of its moon. According UFO hunters, the footage is actually that of a gigantic alien space craft rushing through the Jupiter system.

The video was first uploaded by YouTube user TakeBackSpaceTV, after which a copy was also put up on the same platform by Secure Team 10, a self confessed alien exposing and UFO tracking company. The video was apparently filmed under the Tampa sky in Florida, and the person capturing the activity tracked the alleged UFO for 10 minutes before it went out of sight. According to the person who made the video, the unidentified object did not match up with satellite transits, however he couldn't figure out what it actually was, apart from noticing that the UFO got brighter and dimmer in some parts.

"This amazing footage was actually a four-hour long video of a full moon that was captured in beautiful high definition," said Tyler Glockner from Secure Team 10. "But at one point he [Chris] switches over to Jupiter. You see what seems to be a massive object passing by or near the Jupiter system. He tracked this thing for almost 10 minutes straight before the craft disappeared. The thing looks massive".

Skeptics, however, have not taken well to the alien space craft theory and have suggested an asteroid or satellite flyby to explain the phenomena.  As per a report, the huge size of the object has been attributed to its close distance from the Earth making it look big, instead of it being a huge object flying near Jupiter. No one knows for sure if the UFO video is a hoax or has a simple plausible explanation, but what can't be denied is that it is throwing alien fiction aficionados into a tizzy.
