While Apple has remained tight-lipped about iMac 2016, more and more rumors about the highly anticipated iMac 2016 release date, specs and pricing details have already flooded the internet. Tech enthusiasts were expecting the Cupertino to officially announce the next gen iMac at the iPhone 7 launch event which took place in September. However, the same did not happen.

New reports suggest Apple might unveil the iMac 2016 sometime in October alongside MacBook Pro 2016. Notably, the iPhone maker usually follows the trend of releasing new devices in last weeks of October. So, there are high chances that the next gen iMac will also get a release date soon.

What's interesting to note is that Best Buy reportedly posted a listing for a 27-inch variant of the new iMac during the weekend, reported TechnoBuffalo.

As per the listing, the new iMac, which carried the model number K0SC0LL/A, will come with an Intel Core i7 processor, a 27-inch display, the AMD Radeon R9 M380 graphics chipset, 2GB of video RAM, 32GB memory and a 2TB fusion drive. The Apple laptop was listed with a whopping price tag of $3200. The authenticity of the iMac listing on BestBuy is yet to be proved.

Previous rumors suggested that the iMac 2016 will get a couple of exciting new specs and features. The next gen Apple desktop is expected to feature an Ultra HD 5K display, an AMD Polaris GPU, Radeon RX 400 series graphic card, Thunderbolt 3 port, USB 3.1 and virtual reality support. There's a slim chance that the iMac 2016 might get Intel's latest Kaby Lake chipset.

Readers are advised to take the information and rumors with a grain of salt as nothing yet has been officially announced by the makers.
