'PokéMon Sun and Moon' News, Update, Release Date: Two PokéMon Games, Different Set of PokéMon?

Pokémon lovers will be in for a treat as "Pokémon Sun and Moon" games are set to come out with two different sets of Pokémon creatures. The new trailer from Nintendo showed off several Pokémon creatures and said that those featured in "Pokémon Sun" will be different from those in "Pokémon Moon." Together that came out with the trailer is the revelation of the game's release date.

According to the International Business Times, The Pokémon Company's official Japanese website has revealed that the two video games will come with different sets of Pokémon. The Japanese marketing and licensing firm particularly said that those Pokémon creatures that will appear in each game will be different from the other. This did not come as a surprise for fanatic Pokémon game players since it was made clear by Game Freak and Nintendo that these are two different games.

The two RPG games features two different titular legendary Pokémon. "Pokémon Sun," is led by the Psychic/Steel-type Pokémon named Solgaleo, who was described as the emissary of the sun. "Pokémon Moon" on the other hand is headed by the moon's emissary, the Psychic/Ghost-type Pokémon named Lunala which is Latin for "Moon Wing". Rowlet, Litten and Popplio will be those included to complete the selection of starter Pokémon players would need to choose from to proceed with the game. This means that it is not important if users play either one of the game since they will be required to pick from the same set of starter Pokémon anyway.

Meanwhile, itechpost.com reported that since the two games are expected to be released in different times, the Pokémon that were revealed in their Alola forms will also be divided appropriately. There are also reports claiming that Alola Pokémon will be divided according to how they were introduced in the teaser clips.

It is also worth mentioning that for players who are worried that they will not have the chance to play with all new Pokémon and Alola forms. However, The Pokémon Company has stated on its Japanese website that players will have the chance to transfer Pokémon from one gaming software to another. This led everyone to believe that this is what The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara was referring to in February when he said that the Pokémon Bank app will allow players to virtually transfer their pocket monsters between games.
