Many of us have dreams to be somebody from a young age and then some of us don't have a clue until we find our path as we get older. However, that wasn't the case for Dr. Kambiz Sadraei, instead he decided to put all of his passions together.

Dr.Sadraei is a very well known cosmetic dentist in the North American community and is even titled as the only dentist that performs Buccal Fat Pad Reduction in the country. On top of that, he is a huge philanthropist and provides free dental treatment to cancer patients and survivors.

The hardworking dentist was born in Iran, but grew up in Los Angeles. He currently has a practice in El Paso, Texas, which he loves as a city because it's sunny for the majority of the year. When he's not working hard, he takes up the opportunity to travel and has been to 50 countries in total so far.

This excellent cosmetic doctor is available for all kinds of dental treatments and sometimes shares his work on Youtube. However, he is very active on social media and has over 100,000 followers that love his work.

How he became a cosmetic dentist

Dr.Sadraei didn't wake up one day and said "I will become a cosmetic dentist". Instead, it was an interest of his that originally grew when he was working as a musician. The humble doctor has a creative side and has always been passionate about music and songwriting.

The busy business man has stated, "I used to be a full time musician, but I also was fascinated by health and science. I like art and that's why I thought being a cosmetic dentist would fit my character, because it's a combination of everything that I love."

The cosmetic professional works long hours and studied hard to get to where he is today. He explains that, "It's totally worth the long journey that I've been through because now I get to put a smile on people's faces and change their lives for good."

Dr.Sadraei still works on music and songwriting and also stays healthy by exercising regularly. He has faced negative experiences in his job, but he always has a strong mental health wellbeing and positive attitude. He explains that, "I do give free treatments to cancer patients and survivors and it's very rewarding for me to do that. However, I recently heard sad news of a patient that passed away, which was devastating for me because they were such a kind person. But the patient's parents handed me a letter where the patient explained that they were happy with my treatment and that I made their day."

Tips for becoming a cosmetic dentist

Dr.Sadraei knows that it's a long journey for budding cosmetic dentists, since you have to study first and gain experience. Here are a few tips that he wishes to share.

Keep up with technology

He explains that "Technology is always evolving and it's a necessity for us to understand the latest technology in our field. Make sure that you do your research and keep up to date with that, so that you can widen your services and knowledge as a cosmetic dentist."

Make sure that customers come first

He advises that, "In order to run a smooth practice you need to gain customer loyalty. For me, I love to change people's lives for good and it's a very rewarding thing to see them smile. It's important that you treat the customer with care, make them feel comfortable and to deliver excellent results."

Be passionate about what you do

He explains that, "For me I don't see it as just a job, I see it as a passion of mine. In order to be truly successful, you have to be motivated and happy. If you are not any of that, you're just setting yourself up for failure."

Don't be despondent

Dr.Saraei advises that, "There will always be pros and cons no matter what job you do. Don't be despondent of that, because there are many more rewards that you'd get, so working the long hours are worth it."
