Leonardo diCaprio is a man of many faces: from a drowned working class young man to a dream architect to a bear-fighting Oscar winner, the actor seems to want to do it all, and that includes going to Mars.

TIME reported that during the White House's South by South Lawn (SXSL) festival of ideas, the actor spoke with President Barack Obama and climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe in a panel discussion regarding the importance of preserving our planet. This is especially so considering that Elon Musk's recent pitch about moving to Mars is not exactly the most realistic option in case things get worse here on Earth.

Dr. Hayhoe spoke with Inverse, indicating that Musk's idea of moving to the neigboring planet is crazy - and that she really does not want to know if someone had.

"I did," DiCaprio joked, which led to the president responding with a jab, saying, "I think he'll acknowledge he's crazy."

DiCaprio may not be serious about the Mars voyage, but his admission did come merely a week after the SpaceX founder shared his plans on colonizing Mars, which USA Today noted to include sending humans to space for a highly dangerous 30-day voyage. Unfortunately, only the rich could afford such luxury vacation: each ticket costs around $200,000.

But why not take the time and money to go on a historical trip, especially with Leo being in the same small space as you for weeks on end? Well, there's the fact that it does not guarantee safety. Even Musk himself warned that those who do sign up for the trip should be prepared to die. But Leo is going though, so it's worth thinking about. Besides, you will still have enough time to spend with loved ones and get your affairs in order: the Dragon is not set to launch until 2018, with details yet to follow.
