Nintendo's "Pokémon Sun and Moon" were rolled out last month and it seems that the role-playing games are already set to break the previous sales records. The year has been quite good for the game developer however as compared to the beginning of the year, the ending seems to be much better.

According to recent reports, the combined sales of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" have broken down the sales record set up by "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The games have taken up the top spot on US sales charts for November following the path of the much appreciated Pokémon Go sales. It's worth noticing that not only the Pokémon Franchise but the Super Mario as also broken up the previous mobile sales records.

"Pokémon Sun And Moon": Best Selling Games Of The Month

Unlike before, the US chart tracker NPD now doesn't make the entire sales chart public. However, it does give out a list of sales based on the revenue generated by each product. Earlier the list used to be sorted out depending on the number of copies sold. Based on the list of top 10 revenue gathering products, revealed by NPD earlier, we can very much speculate how the public has responded to the game since its launch.

The chart, similar to the UK's Chart-Track, clearly reveals that the combined sales of "Pokémon Sun And Moon" for November are way ahead of the sales of the "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare". It's worth noticing that the chart doesn't even involve the digital sales records for the game, making the Pokémon Sun and Moon, the best-selling games of the month. If you've been a follower of the game then you must be aware that the online difference between both the games is the variety of available Pokémon. Nintendo probably decided to separate the games so as to encourage trading of each game separately.

"Pokémon Sun And Moon": Everything You Should Know

If the recent reports are to be believed, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" have broken all previous sales records, selling 8% way more than the previous Pokémon Black and White version. While the Wii U came out to be the least successful console from Nintendo this year, eventually with the unexpected jump success of Pokémon GO, followed by the successful launch of Switch, and the Classic Mini NES, Nintendo got its grip all over again.

"Super Mario Run" has also already become the number one paid-app in more than 60 countries, which also include the UK and US. It remains to be seen whether the game is able to maintain its success rate next year as well. Stay tuned to SWR for latest news and updates on "Pokémon Sun and Moon."
