An Apple store at San Francisco got robbed in just 12 seconds flat, according to reports. All of the robbery was caught by the cameras at the store. The San Francisco Police Department (SCPD) has released the video with the hope that somebody might be able to identify the robbers. Apple has not commented on the robbery so far.

The robbery took place on 29Nov at around 5:40 pm PST. The unintentionally humorous video shows two robbers coming inside the store, just grabbing whatever they can get their hands on and running out. The Apple employees and customers are shown as standing by nonchalantly!

Not only were no arrests made, but the same store was robbed again five days later. This time also the robbers did the exact same thing, except there were four of them. The video of the first robbery can be seen here. No arrests have been made so far in both the cases, even though two weeks have passed.

Apple stores have been the target of robbers for some time now. Earlier, an Apple store at Dallas, TX was robbed. Similarly another store at New York City was robbed. Even the Apple stores at Paris, France have not been spared. With so many robberies happening, newspapers like the New York Times are of the opinion that Apple isn't doing enough for protecting its stores and its users.

The company offers standard security features to its users. For example, lost iPhones can be tracked and wiped by their users. However, in order for these features to work, the stolen device needs to have access to a data connection. If that isn't the case, then the iPhone is as good as gone. With so many robberies taking place, one wonders whether the company is getting used to it.
