'Spider-Man' PS4 Release Date, Gameplay, Update: New PlayStation 4 Trailer Shows Spiderman In Action! 2018 Release Imminent?

There's some good news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for game developer Insomniac Games to announce "Spider-Man" for PS4 release date. Sony has revealed in a post on the PlayStation Blog that the highly anticipated "Spider-Man" PS4 game will be coming in near future.
The new PlayStation 4 trailer titled "King" showcases "Spider-Man" swing through the streets of Manhattan wearing a costume with the white spider emblem. The latest PlayStation 4 trailer also features "God of War," "Call of Duty," and "Horizon Zero Dawn." While, the game developer hasn't announced an exact "Spider-Man" for PS4 release date, the commercial has at least confirmed that work on the much-rumored gaming title is going on in full speed and that the same will be rolled out for PS4 in the near future.
As far as "Spider-Man" for PS4 gameplay is concerned, it is reported that the game plot will be a standalone story and will not be linked to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in any manner or even to the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie. The game is expected to feature a huge open-world gameplay in New York. The upcoming "Spider-Man" PS4 title will reportedly have Martin Lin a.k.a. Mister Negative as the main villain. The in-game engine demo, which was released at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, shows Spiderman fighting with masked criminals who are from Negative's gang.
There are also rumors that the upcoming "Spider-Man" for PS4 gaming title will possibly feature a slew of popular Marvel characters. WhatCulture jotted down a list of ten Marvel characters who could possibly play the role of villains in the upcoming "Spider-Man" game. The list includes The Tinkerer, Mister Negative, Spot, Alistair Smythe the Spider-Slayer, The Vulture, J. Jonah Jameson, The Jackal, The Inheritors, Massacre and Green Goblin.
While, Sony and Marvel haven't yet announced a release date for the still untitled "Spider-Man" for PS4 game, it is expected that game won't be launched until 2018.
