Niantic ‘Harry Potter Go’ Game Release Date [VIDEO]: Pokemon Go Inspired ‘Fantastic Beasts’ To Be launched In 2017!

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them" has hit the movie theaters today (November 18) and is expected to shatter the previous Harry Potter Series' records. Following the trend set up by its earlier "Pokemon Go", the smartphone game developer has also decided to launch the Niantic "Harry Potter Go" Game titled "Fantastic Beast: Cases from the Wizarding World" in 2017.

Game Fanatics have been speculating about the game's release with the launch of the next Movie in the theaters, however, it looks like "Fantastic Beasts" would not be launched before 2017. Here's what we know about the Niantic "Harry Potter Go" Game so far:

"Fantastic Beast Cases from the Wizarding World": Trailer And GamePlay

Recently a Harry Potter fan uploaded a YouTube video, showing the game's characters moving in an air world. The game revolves around the characters choosing their houses, collecting wizarding cards, and hunting beasts. An online petition has also been filed quite a while back, asking Niantic to develop the "Harry Potter Go" application.

While there are speculations whether "Fantastic Beast: Cases from the Wizarding World" will be an augmented reality-based or not, the game will definitely provide the players, what they've been expecting. Like the Pokemon Go App, this game will also feature a map that'll guide the players to some of Hogwarts signature locations including Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and Leaky Cauldron.

The players will be first sorted out in various Houses in "Harry Potter Go" just like in the earlier AR based game, players had to choose a team. The players may also be given access to 'Marauder's Map", for exploring the Hogwarts castle. Although, the title may be "Harry Potter Go", currently Niantic has decided to carry on the movie title "Fantastic Beasts" to gain attention.

"Fantastic Beast Cases from the Wizarding World": Release Date

"Harry Potter Go" was so high in demand that over 61,000 supporters filed an online petition to get Warner Bros.' support the game's development. Ashtyn Hannon, one of the fans has been able to raise the attention of 95 percent of the minimum goal of required supporters. While it has been stated that the game is being developed by Niantic, the game developer has not announced anything on this matter.

"Fantastic Beast" fans have released a number of videos, as well as signed online petition to bring the mobile app to life as fast as humanely possible. Previously, the "Harry Potter GO" was reported to be released today (November 18), with the launch of the movie.
