With competition on the rise among the latest drones, DJI might face an issue with its folding DJI Mavic Pro drone model. GoPro Karma drone is releasing tomorrow, but DJI is unable to ship its already released drone to the buyers till now. And, this is making the buyers irritated.

Even though the anticipation among the customers and enthusiasts is rising, DJI does not seem to be concerned about the delay much. And, this is making the customers question the company's commitment towards the folding DJI Mavic Pro.

Just after the release of the rival drone, DJI Public Relations representative had this to tweet online, "I'm watching a competitor unveil a new product. I ain't worried about a thing."

After a few weeks of this statement, DJI showed up with the DJI Mavic Pro which hyped up the customers with its intuitive and flexible features. The product does seem worth gloating for. And, the whole DJI community and fanatics were eagerly awaiting for pre-orders for the device as soon as possible.

However, luck might seem to fade away from the company as there are manufacturing problems being faced with the Mavic Pro drones. And, this is happening right five days after its release. It is likely to bother the ones who placed pre-orders more than the ones who look forward to the drone's arrival in the later months.

Early reviewers were able to get the device before the release. Even the device looks pretty sleek in these reviews. But, the recent updates reveal that the product is likely to be delayed for an uncertain period.

Another reason for the anger among customers is the lack of knowledge from DJI regarding this issue. The company's Global Director of Communications tried to calm down the buyers with this statement:

"Since unveiling the Mavic Pro, we've had amazingly strong global demand. Production is in full swing, and we will be fulfilling orders as fast as we can."

This certainly is not a convincing statement if you think of it. But, hopefully the issue gets sorted out. Let us know in the comments what do you think is causing the delay and will this affect DJI's image in the drone industry?
