Super Mario Run is about to set its debut this December of this year on iOS. The Super Mario on iOS will still feature the familiar Mario mechanics which we are all used to specifically developed to be played with a single hand. This announcement will mark Nintendo's courageous dive into the world of mobile gaming. This bold move by Nintendo proved to be a huge come back for the all-time favorite game. So huge that 20 million iOS users have already signed up to be notified when the game is released.

Apple CEO Tim Cook just recently took a flight to Japan where he went to visit Nintendo's main headquarters and discussed about the upcoming Super Mario Run on iOS with Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo staff.

Mr. Cook then revealed some very interesting news that will give all Super Mario fans of how popular the game is going to be. He confirmed that there have been over 20 million iPhone users signed up to be notified when the game is released. This proved of huge consumer interest from mobile gamers.

The question of how Nintendo plans to monetize the Super Mario Run. Will it be through ads, micro transactions, or will it be through a "demo" release and charge you later on for the full game? The game is set to be released by Nintendo with a free-to-try version.

It basically lets you play the game with a handful of levels. Once you get the hang of it and want more, you will now have to pay for you to be able to unlock different levels of the game. Another neat perk of purchasing the full game is that it removes the ads with it.

The game is said to be released this December on iOS and will soon be available for Android next year. Don't forget to check with SWR for more 'Super Mario Run' latest news.
