The korean firm could soon update its Tab S2 flagship line-up with a new 9.0-and 8.0 inch models. The said update could also potentially come with alongside a new Samsung Galaxy Tab Edge and a Gear S3 smartwatch. In this article, we rounded up the Galaxy Tab S3 release date, price and specs predictions.

Following the previous launches of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S lineup, people are expecting the Tab S3 will also be released in July month ahead of the infamous Galaxy Note 7 which was announced last August. However, things didn't seem to fall in place as expected. The much anticipated Tab S3 wasn't unveiled either during Samsung's press conference at IFA 2016 on September 1.

The tech community is now speculating that the Tab S3 will arrive in the first quarter of 2017 with the model number SM-T820 and SM-T825 for the Wi-Fi and LTE version respectively as Sammobile suggests. We could assume that it is specifically referring to a different version of the tablet with a much larger screen size, though that doesn't necessarily mean the compact version of the model will not make an appearance.

Rumors has it that the Tab S3 has already been certified by the FCC which is only possible when a product is about to be released to the consumers.

As always, the Tab S series never fails to amaze us with its not notch specification. The Tab S3 will be a power house tablet with its bumped up hardware. We could expect a high-resolution display most likely Quad-HD with the pixel dimensions of 1536x2048 pixels in a Super AMOLED display. The new Tab S3 is also rumored to carry Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 652 chip together with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Some leaked benchmark revealed a score of 4,275 points for multi-core and 1,225 for single core in Geekbench 3.0. For the larger Tab S3 9.7 inch scored 4,122 points for multi-core and 1,312 for single-core. These benchmark scores show the company's flagship tablets are not bad after all.
