The Note 7 has been in a serious crisis in the past few weeks. The situation has got so worse that the company has officially decided to scrap the phone. Such a catastrophic situation leaves only one question in the minds of the fans, "Where to go if Samsung is finished?"

Most of the people are seen adding insult to the injury of the already hurt fans. The models being suggested as replacements for the Note 7 are either Apple's iPhone brand, or the Google's Pixel. Apart from these two, some people are also seen suggesting Samsung Galaxy S7 to the people as a replacement. Although these phones might get most of the on screen appearances, but the truth is not in their favor; there are alternatives which not only offer the same features, but also surpass in performance from all of the above-mentioned.

A person from Forbes is comparing some not-so-popular phones to Note 7 on the basis of size, dimensions, specifications and features. What is more interesting is that these alternatives not only go shoulder to shoulder with the Note 7, but also provide a light on pocket price.

All of the smartphones mentioned in this list compare to Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in terms of the specifications they come packed in. So, let us head out to those smartphones and see what they offer to us:

1.       LG V20

If you want to go with a similar big screen and camera, then the LG V20 offers you all those capabilities. V20 also comes with a 5.7-inch screen and the same resolution as that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. V20 offers a better screen and goes for the warmer colors if the user intends to, but this choice relies totally upon the users.

The other thing users are mainly concerned about is the camera experience. That is another ground where V20 and Note 7 are going toe to toe.

If you are a person who is amazed by the colors and screen size then you will love the LG V20. This phone promises a good experience which makes it a good alternative of the Note 7. If you are willing to explore further, have a look here.

2.       OnePlus 3

An all-rounder if you ask me, the OnePlus 3 is a complete tower of power. Why is this phone included in this list? Well, it is smoother and faster alternative if compared with the Note 7. Yes, it is actually better!

The phone has a stunning 2GB superiority over the Note 7 in the RAM. Moreover, the android skin of OnePlus 3 is also skyhigh if we look from the eyes of the Note 7.

In addition to the amazing speed and user-experience, there is another thing which drives people crazy for the OnePlus 3. Its metal Unibody looks and all the power-packed features come at a price which is approximately 1/2 of that of the Note 7.

This is one good alternative if you think performance is the main key. You can view the details for this phone here.

3.       Huawei P9 Plus

If you are going with the "Pandora's Box" factor with the Note 7, then Hwawei is just the company for you. The Hwawei is a premium Chinese company that offers mostly similar features in their smartphones as compared to the Samsung. In that huge list of models the company sells, the P9 Plus is a prominent one.

Huawei P9 Plus needs some getting used to with the EMUI Android skin but it is overall a featured pack premium smartphone. The most interesting feature of this smartphone is its dual-camera setup. If you are a person who is in love with the camera tricks and long exposure shots of the Note 7, then P9 is just your thing.

The P9 is so good with the camera that it stands out as a competitor to the Note 7. Though the result of the camera is a little bit lower as compared to the Note 7, the exposure shots taken by the P9 have no parallel and even Note 7 itself is not capable of clicking such beautiful snaps.

On a final note:

The users who got the above 3 in place of the Note 7 are completely satisfied users. Yes, this is a point that the Note 7 can be better in overall features from these handhelds, but no one really focuses on "everything." There is one preference in everyone's mind.

I would choose the OnePlus 3 if I had to choose from the 3 of these alternatives (OnePlus, Hwawei or LG.) Of course, the phone offers stunning performance and that is what I am always after. You can also switch to iPhone 7 or any of the flagship models of Samsung, but consider this a heavy choice as most of the features are being offered in the above mentioned smartphones. Note 7 might be dead, but the race is not yet over.
