Apple released its latest iOS update last week, and unless you're very keen about the features on your phone, you may not have noticed the changes at all - the update was big, but pretty subtle, so you may never notice them if you weren't looking properly. Here are some iOS 10 updates that could change the way you're using your gadgets:

1. Apps in Messages

Messages look a bit different in the new iOS 10 - and it's more than just the look. In fact, as noted by NDTV Gadgets, there is now an App Store for them, that can do things like look up movie times and even buy tickets on Fandango. For those who love eating out, you can also book a reservation on OpenTable, making plan coordination very easy.

2. Smarter Siri

Siri has become much smarter in the iOS 10, but unless you have a regular conversation with her to see if she's learned something new, you probably won't notice that she can work with more apps like Venmo or use WhatsApp to send messages. Siri cam even do more sophisticated searches now, like find emails from specific days, as well as photos that feature certain objects or people.

3. Better Search Results

Apple's object recognition technology makes it easier for people to find exactly the photos they need to find, but it goes even further than that, with facial tech that groups photos of the same people together, or even make your phone album look like a Snapchat account, making organization better than ever.

4. Email Filtering

Messy email inboxes seem to be the norm, and because it is hard to find exactly what you want when you want it, people can be turned off the feature. However, Apple's new Mail app has a filter button which allows users to filter flagged and/or unread messages, direct messages, messages with attachments, and even messages from people on your own VIP list.

5. Camera Tricks

iOS 10 also allows users to edit RAW photo files in DNG format. Unfortunately, Apple did not put everything photographers need though - but third party apps like Obscura and RAW by 500px are available to help edit these uncompressed photos.

If these updates already sound a lot to you, Forbes noted that there were actually 50 new things you can find on the recent update: you just have to learn to explore.
