The success of Pokémon GO is not what anyone has expected. Now, it has reached millions of people worldwide and players have discovered a lot of ways to play the game. However, these discoveries may be showing unexpected effects for those who chose to play the game using eccentric ways.

According to Slash Gear, Pokémon GO is experiencing a rough patch recently. A huge number of users have been having trouble using the Eevee evolution trick. As many may have already known, the tricks used have working for quite some time and has already helped a lot of Pokémon GO players. Being one of the most popular creatures in the game, Eevee has three staple evolutions from the first generation. Players found out that this creature has control over which Pokémon ca be called to evolve.

We have previously reported that Eevee trick has a lot to do with the first Pokémon TV show episode where the three forms of evolved Eevee appeared. Each of the three Eevee type is owned by three brothers named Pyro, Sparky or Rainer. When it evolves, the Eevee can turn into Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporean respectively.

Game n Guide wrote in a report that many users have found that the trick only worked a few times. And now, the players found that they can only use the trick three times, one for each evolution type. To make things more exciting, the other two Eevee evolutions will be included in the future update of Pokémon GO. Umbreon and Espeon which was seen in the second generation have been added to the list of new Pokémon which will appear in the augmented reality game.

To produce the above mentioned Pokémon, the game will still use the same rule where the time of day will determine which evolved creature to surface. If players evolve their Eevee at night, it will turn out as an Umbreon and Espeon in the morning, Mobile n Apps reported.

There are also some speculations that the new buddy system will be an important factor to Eevee's friendship levels. The more you spend time with your Eevee, the higher your friendship will be. However, nothing has been confirmed by Niantic yet, and the only time players can find out once Gen 2 is already up and running.
