It seems "Watch Dogs 2," the second installment of the popular open world action-adventure third-person shooter video game, is going to be much better than its predecessor "Watch Dogs" in terms of gameplay and features. The highly anticipated action game will get released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 15 this year. Ubisoft rolled out the latest "Watch Dogs 2" gameplay footage at Gamescom 2016 which showcased the online multiplayer functions as well as a lot of other exciting features.

"Watch Dogs 2" Online Multiplayer Features

According to a report coming from Polygon, the Hacking Invitation PVP mode from the first game will return with the sequel. This mode will enable players to assign a target opponent and then search and download certain amount of data from the opponent's device without being detected. The same mode will also let gamers team up with other players to do co-op missions.

Another brand new "Watch Dogs 2" online mode making it to the list this time is the Bounty Mode. In this mode, the police can be triggered to chase the hacker via two ways- one by causing chaos to catch the police's attention, which will then prompt them and other players to chase the player, and the other is by sending invites to online users. It is to be noted that once the police will begin chasing the hacker, the game will automatically go out of the single player mode.

There are reports which claim that "Watch Dogs 2" game map will be bigger than the original's Chicago setting. It is expected that in the new game everything in the map will be readily available to the player from the very beginning, reported Gaming Bolt. Furthermore, "Watch Dogs 2" has a new protagonist in the form of Marcus Holloway who has replaced Aiden Pearce from the first edition. The game is currently available for pre-orders.
