Popular messaging service WhatsApp has reportedly rolled out two new features for its Android Beta program users.

The WhatsApp for Android beta v2.16.189 adds two new features: Callback and Voicemail. The new features will appear on screen when a user makes a voice call on WhatsApp and his/her contact either declines the call or doesn't answer it. The "Call declined" screen will show three options to the user- "Cancel", "Call Back" and "Record Voice Message," reported Android Authority.

If in case the user selects the cancel option, the new screen will be closed and the user will get reverted back to the conversation. On selecting the call back option, the user can call back the person who disconnected or ignored their call.

The third and final option will let users record a voice message to send to their contact. The voicemail feature works exactly same like the voice messages delivered from within the chat interface. To record a message, users need to simply tap and hold on the icon.

Another new font feature recently made its way to WhatsApp for Android beta v2.16.179. The font appears similar to the Fixedsys typeface in Windows. The new font will be displayed when a user puts three quotes on both the left and right side of a sentence or a word, reported Android Police.

For example, to type "Hi" in the new font, users will need to type it in this way '''Hi ''''. It is to be noted that the font change cannot be used simultaneously with other formatting options like bold or italics.

In order to use the new features, users will have to apply to the Google Play beta testing program for WhatsApp, and download the latest WhatsApp for Android beta v2.16.189 or alternatively download the signed apk from APK Mirror.

There's currently no word on when the new features will be rolled out for all Android users.
