Sony F8331 Leak: Upcoming Flagship Rounded With USB-C Port, Dual LED Flash Camera

Sony F8331 leaked phone may be the company's upcoming flagship smartphone. The Sony leaked pictures of F8331 appear more rounded, moving away from the rectangular version. With the screen more rounded on the sides, which is a first for the company. The positioning of the cameras differ from previous Sony Xperia X and Sony Xperia Z also.

The Sony F8331 has rounded edges with a bigger screen than the 5-inch screen of Sony Xperia X devices. The leaked device will carry a USB-C port for charging, another first for Sony. The usual headphone jack is still in place.

The Sony leaked phone with images shown online, could be a prototype of the device and Sony can still change the name of the smartphone and its physical design. Sony is reported to might make an appearance at the IFA this September; hence fans are hoping that all the questions pertaining to the F8331 leak will be answered.

The Sony F8331 leak showed a different design from the previous Xperia smartphones. It has a bigger screen than Xperia X Performance and can capture a 4K video from front and back cameras. The Sony F8331 leaked photos have 1080p display in Quad HD displays. The megapixel count for the front and back cameras are still unknown, Follow News reported. It is also speculated that the processor might be a Snapdragon 820 or 821.

While Sony Xperia Z has not had a release for a year, Sony Xperia X Performance was marked with Snapdragon 80 and 23 megapixel camera, Design N Trend reported.

The Sony leak also included the back side which has a camera with dual LED flash and a panel at the bottom that looks like a brushed metal. The front is most recognizable with the front stereo speakers and the NFC antenna.
