Dying Giant Radio Galaxy Discovered 9 Billion Light Years Away

Astronomers have discovered a dying giant radio galaxy which is 9 billion light years away. Researchers from the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA, TIFR) in Pune, India made the discovery using the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT).
