Starbucks might have leaked the arrival of new monsters in the hit location-based adventure game, "Pokémon GO." Confidential documents sent to Baristas of the popular coffee chain revealed details of the next promotion.

"Pokémon GO" and Starbucks Collaboration

In a staff memo that was posted by user alturrisi on Reddit, it reads "The world of 'Pokémon GO' is about to expand with new Pokémon and a new Starbucks beverage!' It was revealed that the app will release new Pokémons as part of the update on Thursday, Dec. 8. A better version of the screen captured images where sent by Reddit user ArizonaIcedOutBoys.

Starbucks coffee shops will be turned into a PokéStop or gym. Trainers will be given a chance to unlock the custom "Pokémon GO" Frappuccino Blended Créme beverage by locating the store in the mobile app available in Android or IOS. The Frappuccino's mix is surprisingly true to the creatures' staple lure in "Pokémon GO," Razz Berries. The drink is laced with raspberry syrup and blackberries, almost the same ingredients as that of the classic Vanilla Bean Frappucino.

The promotion is only available to its customers in the United States. Details of the release of the Pokémons in other countries have not been revealed. Looking at the trend, non-US fans can expect that Niantic will also unleash the second-generation globally soon.

Promotion Signals Coming Of Second-Generation Pokémon

Everything directs to the earlier leak that anticipates the arrival of 100 new species, which includes Totodile, Togepi, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita. These are just some of the creatures in the Pokémon Gold and Silver Pokedex.

The Dec. 8 Starbucks event might just be the perfect time to reveal the second-generation fleet. Niantic could be preparing to announce it very soon as the promotion is near its release. Stay tuned to SWR for more "Pokémon GO" latest news and updates.
