‘Tekken 7’ Release Date, DLC Rumors, News, Update: New Gameplay Trailer Teases Characters, Story Line [VIDEO]

There's no doubt that game enthusiasts are quite interested to know all about "Tekken 7" possible release date, DLC, gameplay and characters. The game developer Bandai Namco recently rolled out a new story trailer which teases what the highly anticipated fighting game "Tekken 7" will feature.

The new "Tekken 7" gameplay trailer was revealed at the recently held Golden Joystick Awards 2016 event. The action packed trailer showcases some breathtaking in-game fighting scenes and also features Street Fighter fame crossover character, Akuma. It is reported that Akuma will be seen playing a big role in the plot. In fact, "Tekken" producer Katsuhiro Harada has described the fighter's inclusion the storyline as a "special case."

"Akuma may be a special case," Harada told GameSpot. "It's not like other games where we take the character and put him in the character lineup and that's it. He's actually part of the story and the game--not just the backstory but actually in the story mode itself."

In the trailer, Akuma can be seen attacking Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi as he tries to take revenge on them. The latest "Tekken 7" gameplay trailer also features Feng, Bryan, Kazuya, Nina and Yoshimitsu. Tech.Mic reports that "Tekken 7" will likely feature 33 playable characters including Jin, Hwoarang, Lars Alexandersson, Steve Fox, King, Marshall Law, Lili, Paul Phoenix, Leo, Alisa, Lee, Xiaoyu, Dragunov and Bob.

 A number of other new characters are also expected to appear in the upcoming game. The list includes Claudio Serafino, Gigas, Josie Rizal, Jack-7, Lucky Chloe, Master Raven, Shaheen, Katarina Alves as well as Hong Kong supercop Lei Wulong. While, Bandai Namco hasn't yet revealed "Tekken 7" release date, rumors are that the game might get rolled out sometime in the last week of February 2017 for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
