The 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 is all set to be revealed early next year, but there are already rumors flooding the market about the specs and features of the upcoming smartphone. The South Korean tech giant is all set to rule the market again with the launch of its Galaxy S8 after the previous Galaxy Note 7 turned out to be the biggest failure.

Although no official announcement has yet been made regarding the 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, specs and price details, based on recent leaks and rumors, we can still speculate what the upcoming Samsung smartphone might feature. Following the huge criticism of the Galaxy Note 7, after the smartphone was reported to catch fire, the Galaxy S8 is expected to be a life saver for the South Korean giant. As it has been almost two years since Samsung's Smartphone got a facelift, and also as Apple may give its iPhone 8 a new look, it's highly expected that Galaxy S8 will feature a new appearance.

According to recent reports, the upcoming Smartphone will have features inspired by Apple's iPhone 7. Korea's ETNews earlier stated that Samsung may ditch the Home button in its 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8. The tech giant may integrate the function into the Smart Phone's display itself. An OLED display with a 90 percent screen-body ratio may also be featured in the upcoming Smartphone.

The Galaxy S8 will feature a 4K-resolution screen and will come in two variants 5.7" as well as 6.2" with a pixel density of 806ppi. The AMOLED display will provide an even better Virtual Reality Experience. As the era of flat displays is about to get over, the 2017 Smartphone may also feature a curved display.

The upcoming 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 830 processor or the Exynos 7 Octa Processor. The RAM and Storage capacity, however, is expected to be similar to the Galaxy Note 7 model. The Galaxy S8 may also debut the latest USB Type-C port, which was expected to be featured in the earlier Note 7.

If the earlier trends are followed, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in another Edge Variant as well, with a slight difference in the battery capacity as well. The Battery Capacity is expected to be more than 3,000 mAh and 3,600 mAh respectively for the upcoming models. Recent patents by the Korean Giant also suggest that the 2017 Samsung Galaxy S8 may also feature a dual-camera and an AI Assistant named Bixby.

Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy S8 could have a new Display Design as well. Samsung has patented designs for a new high-end display that features two screens with a built-in cover. Following the recent trend of the Samsung's Smartphone, the 2017 model may be available for purchase for a $750 price. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge, on the other hand, will have a higher $800 price tag.
