Microsoft Xbox Preview Program Open To Everyone, Members Will Get Ealry Access, Here's How To Become A Tester

Microsoft preview program will now be available to all the users. This program was earlier available to a select few and by now involving everyone Microsoft is taking the crowdsourcing bug testing to the next level.

Microsoft's Larry Hryb has said that the new program would be soon available to everyone. As reported in The Verge, the new program is named, "Xbox Insider Program." Emily Hanson, Xbox Insider program manager, said,

"This new name reflects how we are expanding to offer opt-in opportunities to provide feedback on Game and App Previews alongside System Update previews."

Microsoft has built the Xbox preview dashboard from the ground up, considering the feedback from the fans. The new Xbox Insider Hub will provide more personalized quests and announcements for those already involved in the program. Users will also get a Xbox Insider profile which can be used to send feedbacks.

Microsoft Xbox Preview Program will automatically be updated for the existing testers. For a user not already enrolled in the program, they would be required to agree to new terms and conditions. A new Xbox Insider Hub tab can be found from the preview dashboard,as reported by Gamespot.

The new Xbox Insider Hub will focus on all aspects including apps, games, and system updates. The previous program was focussed more on system updates.
Xbox Insiders will be eligible for previews based on the time they have been in the program, interests, time spent, etc. The users would have the option to opt out of the program as per their wish.

As an Xbox Insider users get to report any problem directly by simply holding the Xbox logo button on the controller and selecting the "Report Problem Tab." There would be a list of existing problems; additionally, users can also upload screenshots and report newer problems. Users can also create a new category of problems and help Microsoft track down the issue.

A discussion board will be available for the Insiders to discuss bugs. So, hurry up and sign for the program as the earliest.
