A while back, Square Enix teased fans with a new "Final Fantasy" game announcement. Lead Designer, Takashi Tokita who developed "Final Fantasy 4" had made this announcement. And, it looks like the game that we all were waiting for is "Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" Android and iOS game.

"Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" is the third game in the series comprising of "Final Fantasy: The Crystal of Time and Space" and "Final Fantasy Legends 2." If the game were to release outside Japan, then it is probably going to be named as "Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" for Android and iOS handheld devices.

We still have little updates on what else is featured in the game apart from the revealed title. Square Enix uploaded this post through a game teaser trailer. There is also a message in the game by Tokita which states that the game will be a rebirth for the "Final Fantasy" series. We are not sure yet what he wants to imply though.

"Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" Release Updates Still Not Confirmed

There are no updates on the release date for the game yet. Moreover, no price for the "Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" Android or iOS games have been revealed yet either. But, we do have updates from the company that fans should pre-register for the game in order to get an exclusive "Fraternity" weapon (as seen in FFX) in the game. Plus, players will also be able to get their hands on the Tidus Phantom Stone.

We are still waiting for more updates from Tokita on the upcoming game for iOS and Android portable devices. Hopefully, the game comes out free of cost. But, that is just a speculation. You can check out the "Final Fantasy Dimensions 2" iOS and Android teaser trailer below to learn more about it. So, what do you think of this upcoming game? Would you download it even if it comes with a price tag?
