Advanced gaming consoles are coming up in the near future. And, this is happening because of the rivalry between the top players in the gaming industry - Sony and Microsoft. Both have consistently given us a gaming console that we not only love, but worship. And, thanks to latest features like 4K and VR technology, the latest consoles are nowhere short on our dream list of the best gaming devices.

Sony revealed a demo for its PS4 Pro a few months back and Microsoft is soon to reveal its Project Scorpio in the upcoming months. Both have been hyped up for their latest features. And, it is true that both are capable of offering 4K. Still, there is a commotion about which one would surpass the other. Xbox One Scorpio isn't out yet, but the specs were revealed beforehand. This lets us compare the PS4 Pro with the Xbox One Scorpio.

Xbox One Scorpio VS PS4 Pro: The "4K" War

Both PS4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio are created to feature 4K resolution which will help gamers experience better gameplay. But, Sony's presentation on the PS4 Pro was not that much convincing when the 4K resolution demo was showcased to the audience. Many felt that it lacked somewhere and was not crisp enough to be called "true 4K."

The Project Scorpio, on the other hand, is being said to deliver actual "4K." This is because of the comparison of the number of teraflops in the each of the gaming consoles. Xbox Scorpio surpasses PS4 Pro with the number of teraflops being 6, while PS4 Pro comes with 4.5 teraflops.

Nevertheless, Sony does have the technology to convert 2x2 pixel density into 4K. This lets it change a 1080p-running game to 2160p. The Sony PS4 Pro is ready for shipment this November 10, 2016. But, Xbox Project Scorpio still does not have a confirmed date yet. According to The Inquirer, Microsoft plans on revealing the console in the 2017 holiday season. There is still hardware development going on with Microsoft's Project Scorpio, so it might come out in 2018.

Thus, this makes the PS4 Pro as the best gaming console when it launches. Furthermore, if you plan on investing your time on VR, then Xbox One Scorpio is what you should be waiting for. As per Express UK, the PS4 Slim and Xbox One S are just devices that you can enjoy playing games on and not VR. For now, we are waiting for more updates to confirm who is a winner between Xbox One Scorpio VS PS4 Pro.
