While you have been hearing about all the magnificent specs of the Huawei Mate 9 till now, famed leakster Evan Blass just added to the excitement by stating that the phone will not only feature a 4x optical zoom, but also reveals that the brand's best model will be tagged at a price of $1300.

The price, which Blass touted, is expected to be for the Huawei Mate 9 Pro version that is rumored to sport impressive specs including a 5.9-Inch curved Quad HD screen, Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, and 256 GB storage capacity, reports Phone Arena. The latest Huawei Mate 9 price tag is similar in the lines of the Apple and Samsung models pointing that ti's the time of curved displays and super expensive smartphones. The 4x optical zoom is perhaps the biggest selling factor for the phone as perceived.

Huawei recently entered into collaboration with the famous German optics company, Leica, for mobile phone cameras and marked the "P9" with the brand. After this, we might soon the see the results of this partnership in the Mate 9 or Mate 9 Pro. Considering that the phablet is anticipated to feature a dual Leica camera layout with the name branded and placed between both the lenses, we can bet on the hypothesis that the 4x zoom (as claimed) is conceptualized in the similar lines with that of the iPhone 7 Plus that features a telephoto lens placed well above the wide-angle main camera in order to zoom in. The camera structure appears quite similar to that of the P9, while Leica's Summarit-H 1:2.2/27 ASPH lens details are imprinted clearly on the sides.

According to GSM Arena, while Huawei is all set to launch its latest Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro model in China on November 3, they have also unveiled a poster with a teaser on their official Weibo page.
