Hybrid devices are already ruling the laptop market with their advanced features. Microsoft is also following the same path starting from the launch of its Microsoft Surface Book early last year. The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is yet another addition to the lineup. Not only it is very portable as a tablet, it is well equipped with all the functions of a laptop.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 Preview:

According to Fab Newz, fans are waiting eagerly for the launch of the Microsoft Surface Book 2, which sports a pretty elegant design and runs Windows 10 OS. Although it is not yet confirmed what the new Surface Book is going to be like, some sources claim that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is still under development. Here's what we know about the Surface Book 2 so far:

The Surface Book 2 is reported to feature a totally new design. Not only will it have a more efficient docking system, it will also have two batteries for the Clipboard and keyboard respectively. V3 reports that Microsoft Surface Book 2 body comprises of a magnesium alloy formula providing a durable body and lighter weight. The Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be powered by the seventh generation 'intel Core I series' chip, Kaby Lake. The display will support 4K Ultra HD content and will also feature a Surface Pen Stylus. While the Dynamic Fulcrum Hinge does look good, the gap between the screen and keyboard gathers a lot of dirt. Microsoft is rumored to adopt the design so the Surface Book 2 so that it can be fully closed.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 Price and Release Date:

Existing Microsoft Surface Book has a discount of £160 on its price on the official store, which might as well shows that a new model is to arrive soon. The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to cost between £1,299 and £2,649.

Microsoft has scheduled a Windows 10 launch event on October 26. If rumors are to be believed, the Tech Giant could make an official reveal to the Microsoft Surface Book 2 at the launch event. Microsoft could also reveal any of the Surface Pro 5, Surface Phone or a Surface all-in-one.

Just in case Microsoft doesn't reveal the Surface Book 2 on October 26, it may be announced late in 2017 with the official unveiling of the Redstone 2. As the Intel Kaby Lake chips should go into productions at the end of this year, we may have to wait for a while.
