Even though Samsung experienced a hug blow due to the faulty Galaxy Note 7, it is still in the race with increasing revenues through other devices. And, now with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, there is soon to be excitement in the mobile industry. Rumors about Samsung Galaxy S8 specs and features are coming up.

The most prominent rumor about the Samsung Galaxy S8 is that the company is getting rid of the headphone jack and the physical home button just like Apple did with the iPhone 7. Samsung is rumored to use a touch screen home button and finger sensor in the screen. This will let the phone deliver a complete display from edge-to-edge in the front.

Besides that, Samsung also plans on removing the headphone jack and will use the USB Type-C audio jack. Samsung Galaxy S8 will move on Apple's steps and use wired headphones or USB Type-C charging as stated in rumors. Saumsung, however, might provide with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm audio jack adapter cable.

Further rumors state that a 4K-resolution display might also be included which will operate through a Qualcomm SnapDragon 830 chip and an ARM Mali-G71 GPU chip, supported by Exynos 8895. Samsung Galaxy S8 might also move to a dual-camera lens which will be capable of shooting DSLR-level pics.

Samsung is maintaining discretion about the features and specs on the Samsung Galaxy S8 as much as possible. The company has forbidden its official dealers to avoid talking about the phone for now. For that a gag order has also been rumored to pass out to the employees by the Korean Giant.

For now, confirmed details are yet to come out for the Samsung Galaxy S8. But, we can expect the phone to get a February 26, 2017 release date, right before the starting of the Mobile World Congress.
