MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Update, Latest News: Apple Confirms 2 New Models? An OLED Touch Pad Included?

A new report has come up stating that Apple plans to officially release the MacBook Pro 2016 at the upcoming Apple Mac Event on 27 October, 2016. Moreover, fans should know that Apple plans on revamping the upcoming laptop. There might also be an announcement for the MacBook Air at the event.

As reported by a Japanese website, Mac Otakara, Apple will reveal two new models for the MacBook Pro 2016. One being a 13-inch model, while the other at 15 inches. Another report says that Apple's MacBook Air 11-inch edition is not going to have any upgrades. But, its 13-inch version will be provided with an update.

The MacBook Pro 2016 will also have ThunderBolt 3 and USB Type-C ports in it. However, the iPhone maker is reported to get rid of the MagSafe 2 Port. MagSafe ports are a series of ports that have a powerful magnetic attachment connectors. These first came out under Apple in January 2006.

Another report tells about MacBook Pro 2016 having a new body. This will be much lighter and thinner than the previous models. The keyboard has also been rumored to get flattened with an OLED touch panel instead of function keys above the keyboard. There are also going to be shortcut keys for frequently-used tools.

We were not able to get a confirmation on the use of SkyLake processor or Intel seventh generation Kaby Lake. However, there is a strong belief that Apple is planning to use the SkyLake processor by Intel.

If the above features are confirmed to be present in the new MacBook Pro 2016, then it will undoubtedly be very much impressive. Fans do need something that is much convenient to use and carry.
