‘Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’ Release Date, Rumors: Game Already In Works? Is A 2017 Release Possible?

After the first two Marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise games, dubbed "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance," "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2," became wildly popular, the demand for a third installment, possibly dubbed "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3," is high among gamers. While, Activision hasn't even confirmed if "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" is in the making, rumors about the highly anticipated game's release date, gameplay and features have started surfacing online.

If recent reports are to be believed, "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" might get announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 event. Notably, nothing about the gaming title has been officially announced by the developers. So, readers are advised to take the information with a hefty pinch of salt.

Rumors about the possible "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" 2017 release sparked after Mike Jones, the "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" relaunch producer, teased about the third Marvel Ultimate Alliance title at the San Diego Comic-Con back in July.

When Jones was questioned if there are plans for more releases from the franchise, he replied saying, "Following the footsteps of a proud Marvel tradition, I'll say anything is possible, true believers!"

There are also reports which claim that the maker's haven't yet started developing the game and that they might decide the game's future after taking players' response for the re-released titles into consideration. Notably, "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" and "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2" were relaunched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in July. It is expected that a positive reception to the remastered version will lead to "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3" being developed soon afterwards.

Gamers are expecting the next MUA installment to feature more Marvel Universe's characters, a brand new story, a massive visual overhaul, new missions, a better combat system and more.
